alfatraining receives EU funding for train-the-trainer courses as part of the "Continuing education courses for teaching digital skills" program

alfatraining will be offering free online courses for teachers in Saarland from May 2022 on the topics of digitalization in teaching, online didactics and the use of media in the classroom. The alfatraining Bildungszentrum GmbH was able to secure funding from the European Union and will offer further training courses on the topic of "Train the Trainer" for the Saarland program of further training courses for teaching digital skills from May 2022 until the end of the year. The courses are 100% funded by Europäischen Sozialfonds as part of the REACT-EU initiative to mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Saarland Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, Energy and Transport.

The aim of the program is to promote equal opportunities in the digital society and thus increase digital education skills. The courses are aimed at people from the fields of teaching and vocational training in Saarland, i.e. teaching staff from educational institutions or vocational schools, trainers in companies and educational institutions as well as freelance trainers in vocational training.

alfatraining will offer two Train-the-Trainer-Kurse courses as part of the program: a basic course with 35 teaching units and an advanced course with 20 teaching units. The courses will focus on teaching in the context of digitalization, online didactics, online moderation techniques and the sensible use of media. The aim of the courses is to teach teachers and trainers how they can develop and implement their content in a sustainable digital or hybrid way.

The courses are free of charge for participants and take place exclusively online in the alfaview® virtual classroom. From mid-May 2022, four basic courses and two advanced courses will be offered on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
