We appreciate your visit to our website and your interest in our company. We respect your privacy and ensure the protection of your personal data by processing it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
You can visit our website without telling us who you are. To view our website, you are only required to provide the data transmitted by your browser to our server (see “Log Files”). Additional personal data about you will only be stored if you voluntarily enter it on the website or use corresponding features, such as when submitting information via our contact form.
Contact
You can enter your personal data on our website to contact us. Only the fields marked with an asterisk are required. Providing additional information may be helpful for processing your inquiry but is not mandatory (voluntary information). This data is used and stored with your consent exclusively for the purpose of processing your message (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). It will not be used for any other purposes or disclosed to third parties unless you expressly consent to such use (consent).
Cookies
Cookies are very small text files used by websites that your browser stores on your device. Through the use of cookies, your browser can transmit certain information to us.
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. This enables your device to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. Unlike transient cookies, they are not automatically deleted when you close your browser. However, you can also delete these cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings.
Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user (“necessary cookies”), are processed as part of our legitimate interest in providing and operating the website, based on Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f of the GDPR and §25(2) of the TTDSG. The following necessary cookies are set when you visit our website:
| Name | Meaning/Function | Storage Duration |
| PHPSESSID | User authentication when submitting forms |
Session |
| wishlist_v2 | Caching of wish list entries for all subdomains | 365 days |
| mtm_consent_removed | This cookie indicates that tracking has not been consented to. | 400 days |
Fan Pages
To provide customers, partners, or other interested parties with up-to-date information and to communicate with them, we operate so-called “fan pages” on the following social networks in addition to our own website: Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, XING, and YouTube.
Data processing in this context is carried out by the provider of the social media platform. Data processing outside the European Union cannot be ruled out. The platform provider may provide us with aggregated usage data, but we do not have access to personal data if you merely visit the fan page.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
In the case of consent given via an opt-in (“checking a box,” “clicking a button”) or any other form of consent, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent may be revoked at any time, without providing a reason, by notifying the party to whom it was given, with effect for the future.
Since data processing is carried out by the platform provider, we recommend that you contact the respective platform provider regarding your rights to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and objection in connection with your visit to our fan page. Of course, we will assist you in exercising your rights if necessary.
In addition, cookies may be placed on your device under certain circumstances. The purposes and legal basis for the use of cookies can be found under “Cookies” in this Privacy Policy or in the platform provider’s privacy policy.

Captcha
We use a CAPTCHA service in conjunction with our web forms. Our goal is to curb and prevent potentially fraudulent activities or the generation of spam requests by blocking automated requests from bots. To this end, we use the Friendly Captcha service provided by Friendly Captcha GmbH, Am Anger 3-5, 82237 Wörthsee, Germany, which processes personal data on our behalf. A JavaScript element is embedded in the source code, which loads the software in the background. Your device calculates the solution to a cryptographic puzzle for the service, which serves to determine whether the visitor is a human or whether the use is abusive due to automated, machine-based processing (e.g., bots). The following data is processed in this process: HTTP request header data (such as browser, operating system, referrer), date/time of the request, version of the Friendly Captcha service used, association with our website, hash value (one-way encryption) of the incoming IP address, number of requests from the (hashed) IP address per time period, and the answer to the computational task solved by the visitor’s computer. Your IP address is anonymized using a hash function and only then processed by the provider, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Cookies are not used in this process. Data processing by the provider takes place exclusively within the EU/EEA. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f of the GDPR.
Log Files
Every time you access our site, we collect the following information about your computer: your computer’s IP address, the request from your browser, and the time of that request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred as part of this request are recorded, as well as product and version information about the browser used and your computer’s operating system. We also record the website from which access to our site was made. Your computer’s IP address is stored only for the duration of your use of the website and is subsequently deleted immediately or anonymized by truncation. The remaining data is stored for a limited period of time. We use this data to operate our website, in particular to identify and correct website errors, to determine website traffic, and to make adjustments or improvements (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Viewing Maps and Videos
You can also access maps and videos through our website. When you visit our website, we do not transmit any personal data to the respective provider of the map information or videos. Only when you click on the corresponding placeholders will you be redirected to the website of the respective provider. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on these websites.

To do so, please use our online appointment booking application and enter the information marked with an asterisk (required fields). After successfully booking your appointment, you will receive a confirmation via email and a reminder shortly before the appointment. For online appointment bookings, we use the application provided by cituro GmbH (Peter-Dörfler-Straße 30, 86199 Augsburg), which processes personal data on our behalf. To enable a video conference via alfaview, your name and email address will be transmitted to alfaview exclusively for this purpose. You will receive an email containing a link to join the consultation via alfaview. For more information on alfaview’s data processing, please refer to alfaview’s privacy policy.
Information on Data Processing in Connection with E-Recruiting
To offer you a convenient way to apply, we use the e-recruiting application provided by BITE GmbH, Magirus-Deutz-Straße 16, 89077 Ulm. BITE GmbH acts as a data processor in this context (Art. 4 No. 8, Art. 28 GDPR). In doing so, we process the data you provide yourself (such as name, address, contact information, and certificates) for the purpose of establishing an employment or contractual relationship (Section 26(1) BDSG or Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. b GDPR). You also have the option to automatically upload your data from LinkedIn or Xing. If you are not a candidate for the position to which you applied, we will delete your data no later than six months after a rejection. However, with your consent (Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. a of the GDPR), we would like to include your data in our talent pool for one year, even if you are not a candidate for an open position at our company at the time of your application. This consent is voluntary and may be revoked at any time with future effect. Information regarding your rights, as well as the contact details of the data controller and the data protection officer, can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Lecturer Recruitment
When you apply for a position as a freelance lecturer, we process the personal data you enter and provide via the web form on our website for these purposes. Fields marked with an asterisk are required; while all other information may be helpful for your application, it is not mandatory. Applications may also be submitted via email.
Incoming application data and documents are processed in strict confidence by the relevant department responsible for this matter. Otherwise, access to this data is limited to the respective internal departments or individuals involved in the application process.
The processing of this personal data from applicants is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (initiation of a contractual or employment relationship) and Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent for voluntarily provided information).
We are interested in recruiting you as an instructor or lecturer not only for a course during a specific time period, but also for subsequent courses in the same or similar subjects. Your application therefore does not pertain to a specific course date, but also to subsequent course dates in the same or similar subjects for which we would like to engage you. For these reasons, we will retain your application until you withdraw it (contact us at dozenten(at)alfatraining.de), but for no longer than seven years. If a course is planned in one of your preferred subjects and we consider you as a trainer or instructor for it, we will contact you. If you withdraw your application or if, for other reasons, we are unable to assign you as a trainer or instructor in the future or consider you for such a role, we will delete your application data.
Withdrawal of Consent and Objection to Data Processing
If you have provided us with consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect.
To the extent that we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you may object to such processing. If you exercise such an objection, we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we currently do. In the event of a justified objection, we will review the situation and either cease or adjust the data processing, or explain to you our compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing.
You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of advertising and data analysis.
You can send us your revocation or objection using the contact information listed under “Data Controller.”

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right of Access
- Right to rectification or erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing

Matomo
This website uses the web analysis service Matomo to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. We have a legitimate interest in using the statistics obtained to improve our website and make it more interesting for you as a user. We use Matomo without cookies for this purpose. The legal basis for the use of Matomo is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. You can prevent the use of Matomo by clicking on the checkbox below to set an opt-out cookie.
Please note that the opt-out sets a cookie with the name mtm_consent_removed on your end device for a period of 400 days to prevent tracking - which is technically necessary to guarantee your right to object. If you delete cookies from your end device after this period, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so that a new objection may be necessary. This website uses Matomo with the extension "Anonymize Tracking Data". This means that IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that they cannot be directly linked to individuals. The IP address transmitted by your browser using Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us. Data older than 90 days is automatically deleted. Information from Matomo on data protection can be found at https://matomo.org/privacy/.
