Project of the alfa group of companies with the German Aerospace Center (DLR)

alfatraining is part of a technology-oriented group of companies that develops innovative IT solutions. Participants in the training courses also benefit from this tech expertise.

One example of this is the alfaATC Communications solution GmbH: it digitizes pilot-pilot communication with AI-based speech recognition (EML) and speech intelligibility (DLR).

The on-prem software automatically transcribes conversations, stores them securely in accordance with EU regulations and increases efficiency and process quality in air traffic control. The software from alfaATC Communications has been on the market since 2026. A well-known major German airport is one of the first customers.

The project shows how closely practical training and technological innovation are linked within the group of companies. In addition to alfatraining, Niko Fostiropoulos' group of companies includes the tech companies alfaview gmbh, Semanux GmbH, EML Speech Technology GmbH and alfaATC Communications GmbH.
