New at alfatraining: Retail Ready course - getting started in retail

With the course Retail Ready – Einstieg in den Einzelhandel, alfatraining is now offering a compact, practice-oriented course for anyone who wants to gain a professional foothold in the retail sector or set up a new business. In just four weeks, participants learn the basic knowledge and skills needed to enter the retail sector directly.

Practical training for the retail sector
The new course is ideal for career starters, career changers and people returning to the retail sector who are looking for a job in sales or customer service. For jobseekers, the further training opens up new prospects in retail, for example in stationary sales, in the presentation of goods or in the area of checkout systems.

Compact and understandable content
In the course, participants acquire the most important skills for entry into the retail sector in a compact format: this includes the basics of retailing with structure, product ranges and the presentation of goods and prices. Practical merchandise knowledge on food and textiles teaches the safe handling of products and their labeling. Working with modern checkout systems and common payment methods is also covered. Other key topics include professional customer communication from advice to complaints, basic knowledge of merchandise management and inventory processes as well as effective POS marketing and visual merchandising. The curriculum is supplemented by a brief insight into HR management and the practical application of current AI tools in everyday working life.
The training concludes with a practice-oriented project, a presentation and a recognized certificate from alfatraining.

Live online teaching
Lessons take place live and in real time in the digital classroom alfaview. The course content is taught by experienced lecturers and deepened through practical exercises in small groups.
