Consultant for balance sheet accounting with statistics

As an accounting officer, you will process business transactions in the area of accounts payable and contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. The course provides you with the relevant knowledge, starting with a systematic introduction to controlling. You will then learn how to handle finances and balance sheets independently and responsibly, as well as the DATEV posting logic and knowledge of tax law and business taxation with practical examples using the DATEV software. Finally, statistical principles and methods are explained.

 

In this course, you will work practically with the on-premise programs of DATEV eG; selected content from the DATEV Students online learning platform will also be integrated to deepen your knowledge.

Specialist knowledge in the field of accounting is required for this course.

The course offers you a systematic introduction to balance sheet accounting, starting with basic knowledge in controlling. You will master the topics of balance sheets, accounting records and annual financial statements, be able to competently take over the organization of operational finance and accounting and master the evaluation of payments with DATEV. You will also have knowledge of tax law and business taxation.

You will also understand the basics of statistics, be able to process and evaluate data and present, explain and interpret statistical data analyses and results using graphics.

The course is aimed at people with training, professional experience or good basic knowledge in the commercial or administrative field as well as specialists in the areas of bookkeeping and accounting with knowledge of economics and business administration.

Employees with a sound knowledge of accounting are indispensable in today's working world and are in demand across all sectors at companies of all sizes. Supporting and advising management opens up a wide range of career opportunities, for example in public administration or with associations and organizations. In addition, companies today rely on employees who are very well versed in the current, often confusing and complicated tax law.

Didactic concept

Your lecturers are highly qualified both professionally and didactically and will teach you from the first to the last day (no self-study system).

You will learn in effective small groups. The courses usually consist of 6 to 25 participants. The general lessons are supplemented by numerous practical exercises in all course modules. The practice phase is an important part of the course, as it is during this time that you process what you have just learned and gain confidence and routine in its application. The final section of the course involves a project, a case study or a final exam.
