Virtual information event for employers on the Qualification Opportunities Act

Funding further training for employees - how does it work?

In cooperation with Deutscher Weiterbildungstag e.V. and IBB AG, alfatraining is offering a virtual information event for employers on the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG) on June 29, 2023 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
The Act to Strengthen Opportunities for Qualification and for More Protection in Unemployment Insurance has been in force since January 1, 2019. In principle, employees have access to further training funding regardless of their qualifications, age and company size if they require further training as a result of digital structural change or are otherwise affected by structural change. The virtual information event on the QCG offers valuable information in just one hour on how employers can make effective use of the opportunities offered by this law. Sandra-Liane Bremer from the Federal Employment Agency in Stade and Jörn Kneiding from the Federal Employment Agency in Karlsruhe will take part in the event.

The following aspects will be discussed, among others:

• Information on the QCG, presentation of important portals and examples of forward-looking qualifications: When and how can further training for employees be funded? Where can specific offers be found?
• Information on submitting and processing applications
• Best practice examples from companies with the QCG
