alfatraining is a partner of Bündnis.Weiterbildung.Ruhr, which comprises various regional networks with a total of more than 150 continuing education providers. The alliance aims to help raise awareness of the importance of continuing education in society, politics, and the economy, and to better connect people interested in continuing education with available training opportunities. To this end, the partners organize workshops, conferences, conventions, and campaigns.

For the Ruhr Continuing Education Initiative, the alliance has set itself the goal—under the motto “You Can Do More”—of highlighting the importance of continuing vocational education, particularly in today’s dynamic world of work. Torsten Withake, Chairman of the Executive Board of the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency, emphasizes that the motto applies “to all of us”: Continuing education can improve career opportunities while also helping to meet the economy’s demand for skilled workers.
