In the first step, the course will familiarize you with the topic of HSE: You will learn how to assess risks and take measures to meet all of a company’s health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements. You will then gain knowledge regarding integrated management systems. An integrated management system (IMS) combines methods and tools from various areas to optimize synergies within a company. The course will introduce you to the relevant knowledge regarding such integration.

After completing the course, you will have a solid understanding of the interrelationships between work and health. You will be able to analyze workloads, assess hazards, implement typical workplace health management measures, and plan, implement, and further develop an occupational safety and health management system. You’ll also gain insight into workplace integration management and its legal requirements. You will be familiar with European and German environmental law and will be able to assess risks and take measures to meet all of a company’s technical and organizational requirements in the area of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

After completing the course, you will have a basic understanding of the interrelated ISO standards and their integration. You know the basics of management systems, have mastered the process-oriented approach and understand the challenges of implementation. You will be able to plan, structure and implement an IMS, effectively integrating different standards. You also have skills in auditing, certification and documentation of IMS. With this knowledge, you will be able to successfully introduce, audit and continuously improve complex management systems in organizations.

The course is aimed at specialists and managers from production and service companies, public administration and operational management.

As an HSE coordinator, you will work in large companies or public institutions to develop, implement, and optimize occupational safety, health, and environmental protection measures. After completing the course, you will be able to demonstrate your new skills with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualifications.

Numerous requirements and standards also determine the everyday life of companies and make it difficult to reduce the internal administrative workload in order to achieve an increase in productivity and greater process efficiency. By creating an integrated management system (IMS), a standardized system can be used for different areas, thus reducing the complexity of processes and the internal administrative burden. Employees with the relevant expertise to set up such an IMS are in demand on the job market across all sectors.

Didactic concept

Your lecturers are highly qualified both professionally and didactically and will teach you from the first to the last day (no self-study system).

You will learn in effective small groups. The courses usually consist of 6 to 25 participants. The general lessons are supplemented by numerous practical exercises in all course modules. The practice phase is an important part of the course, as it is during this time that you process what you have just learned and gain confidence and routine in its application. The final section of the course involves a project, a case study or a final exam.

 

Virtual classroom alfaview®

Lessons take place using modern alfaview® video technology - either from the comfort of your own home or at our premises at Bildungszentrum. The entire course can see each other face-to-face via alfaview®, communicate with each other in lip-sync voice quality and work on joint projects. Of course, you can also see and talk to your connected trainers live at any time and you will be taught by your lecturers in real time for the entire duration of the course. The lessons are not e-learning, but real live face-to-face lessons via video technology.

 

The courses at alfatraining are funded by Agentur für Arbeit and are certified in accordance with the AZAV approval regulation. When submitting a Bildungsgutscheinor Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein, the entire course costs are usually covered by your funding body.
Funding is also possible via Europäischen Sozialfonds (ESF), Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) or regional funding programs. As a regular soldier, you have the option of attending further training courses via Berufsförderungsdienst (BFD). Companies can also have their employees qualified via funding from Agentur für Arbeit (Qualifizierungschancengesetz).
